A dance...
out of laughter, movement, and light -
so carefree that even the air plays along
Flying steps, hands that find each other,
and butterflies that fly along in the flow of lightness.
A moment when everything becomes alive and joyful,
and the world is for a moment just a game .
The reworking of a piece painted “ages” ago. It hung on the wall for a long time before ending up in the basement, but it was always unfinished. It had been worn down over the years and was also slightly damaged.
Recently, it came back to mind and I wanted to see what I could still do with it. I still liked the basic idea, but I have matured somewhat in the meantime and my painting style has become freer and more playful.
Sounds like a contradiction... but from my point of view, it's actually not.
