Playfulness & Serenity
A successful attempt to overcome my tendency toward perfectionism and realism in painting and to become more relaxed and loose. I can also see things more calmly and let them happen randomly, without having to plan and control them down to the smallest detail. Very relaxing.
A floral discovery tour – upon closer inspection, there are so many exciting details and effects that surprised me during creation and even now when I look at them again.
I like the many different colorful elements, the translucent layers of paint and paper, and the varied texture. They were created primarily by randomly applying the materials. Only towards the end did I deliberately add or emphasize elements to create harmony.
I was truly surprised by how the painting, despite the obvious disorder and indiscernible structure and logic, radiate a certain joy, playfulness, and at the same time, calm.
