Playing with numerous shades of green, textures, and layers

Work title: plenty of greens

Working with the color green was refreshing, and the game was fun.

Find a fruit, vegetable, herb, or plant for each letter of the alphabet
avocado - broccoli - chlorella - dill - elderberry - fig - grape...

But green alone was a little too one-sided. So I decided to add some contrast with the complementary color red and a touch of gold. For me, that has a sense of abundance.

Enriched with a little white, a crown of flowers in her hair, and stylized paper butterflies at the end to add a little liveliness. Finished just in time for the summer solstice - so the title was obvious.

The time I find myself in and the impressions I am currently perceiving always have an influence on my art - surrounded by beautiful weather, lush greenery and a touch of magic. Ladybugs were too small to paint in detail, but if you look closely, you can guess where they are or just imagine them.
